2013年度派发给所有小学一年级至中五在籍学生的100令吉开学援助金，1月15日起至1月31日陆续由各校派发。
教育部副部长拿督魏家祥指出，教育部已经把100令吉的开学援助金汇入各小学、中学和独中的银行账户，并由校方安排派发的日期。

Schools have started distributing the RM100 school assistance for students.
Deputy Education Minister Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi said on Monday that parents must collect the money on behalf of their children.
An Education Ministry circular states that the RM100 school assistance needs to be distributed by the end of January.
Some five million students are entitled to the aid, which is estimated to cost the Government RM540mil.
