2014年度一马援助金快讯 BR1M3.0 news update
2014年度一马援助金（BR1M3.0）于2013年12月23日开始接受申请直到2014年1月31日截止。
政府宣布今年将直接将援金汇入受惠者之银行户口，所以之前未有提供银行户口资料者也受促于1月31日之前更新个人资料。
2014年度之援助金发放日期将于2月间开始。
BR1M3.0申请者资格：
* 家庭月入3000令吉及以下。
* 家庭月入3001令吉至4000令吉。
* 60歲及以上的獨身的老年人。
* 21歲及以上的單身人士，每月收入2000令吉及以下。
Applications for the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) 2014 can be made from Dec 23,2013 to Jan 31, 2014.
Starting this year the government had decided to bank the money directly into the account of the recipient. Applicants must submit their bank account number to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) before Jan 31, to facilitate the process of payment.
The BR1M 2014 payment will be made to the eligible applicants from February 2014.
Eligibilitis of applying BR1M 3.0 :
* households with a total monthly income of RM3,000 and less.
* households with a total monthly income of between RM3,001 and RM4,000.
* unmarried individuals aged 21 and above earning not more than RM2,000 a month.
* People aged 60 and above and living alone.

砂拉越职场托儿所 Sarawak Workplace Nurseries
砂拉越职场托儿所将于2014年1月增加至5间，砂拉越的职场托儿所只有3间，即砂拉越基金局、美里青年技术中心与砂妇女局。东姑哈芝武让大厦的职场托儿所目前正在筹备当中，预计在明年1月正式启用，而砂大职场托儿所同样也将会在明年1月正式操作。
The state will have five workplace nurseries by January next year. Sarawak presently had three registered workplace nurseries which are Taska Nur Wiswani at Women Bureau (Petrajaya), Taska Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara in Miri and Taska Yayasanku Sayang at Yayasan Sarawak in Petra Jaya. The nurseries at Bangunan Tuanku Haji Bujang at Simpang Tiga and another at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) are being set up.

砂福利局提供托儿所津贴 RM180 Nursery Subsidy by Sarawak Social Welfare Department
为减轻家长的经济负担，砂拉越政府为低收入家庭提供每月RM180的托儿所津贴。家长只需向托儿所业者索取相关申请表格，填妥后呈交给福利部。
Low-income parents who send their children to nurseries which are registered with the Sarawak Social Welfare Department are entitled to a subsidy of RM180 a month. The subsidy given was meant to help these parents ease their financial burden.

待用咖啡 Suspended Coffee
“我和朋友來到一個小咖啡館點了我們喜愛的咖啡。正當我們端著咖啡準備坐下時，又進來了兩位客人。他們徑直走到櫃檯前對服務員說 ︰「五杯咖啡，兩杯給我們，三杯待用。」
他們付了五杯的咖啡錢，端著兩杯咖啡走了。
我問朋友︰「什麼是待用咖啡？」
“We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we’re approaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter –
‘Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended’
They pay for their order, take the two and leave. I ask my friend:
‘What are those ‘suspended’ coffees ?’
