首相兼财政部长纳吉于10月10日在国会宣读2015年财政预算案时宣布，提高一个大马人民援助金至RM950.
月收入RM3000以下家庭，从RM650增至RM950。分3次发放，即1月及5月分别RM300，9月RM350。
月收入介于RM3000至RM4000的家庭，从RM450增至RM750。
月收入不超过RM2000，21岁以上个人，RM350。一次过于年初发放。
有工作的残疾人士，从RM300增至RM350。
待业残疾人士，从RM150增至RM200。
另，中小学学生也将在一月起获得发放RM100的开学援助金。
另外，政府也将继续推行一个马来西亚购书券计划，发放RM250给大学及学院生，供购买书籍及参考资料用途。
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who is also Finance Minister, when tabling Budget 2015 on Oct 10th, announced that the government would increase the BR1M to RM950 from RM650 previously for households with a total income of RM3,000 and below.
The cash handout will be disbursed at RM300 each in January and May 2015, with the balance RM350 in September.
Household with monthly income from RM3,000 to RM4,000 the amount would be increased from RM450 to RM750.
As for single individuals aged 21 and above and with a monthly income not exceeding RM2,000 the amount would be raised from RM300 to RM350.
